ROCKIN IN THE NEW YEAR! JANUARY 2024 ISSUE!!
Lita Ford – A Forever Rocker
story by Aki Solomos
Born 1958 in London, England, Lita had a brief 10-year childhood. It was at the very young age of 11, after moving to Long Beach, California, when she picked up the guitar for the first time. Six years later she became the lead guitarist and one of the founding members of an all-female rock band with Joan Jett, Sandy West, Micki Steele, Peggy Foster, Cherie Currie, Jackie Fox, Vicki Blue, and Laurie McAllister. Despite their short '75 to '79 run, The Runaways became legendary.
After the band's breakup, Lita debuted her first solo album 'Out For Blood'. Her first single, 'Fire In My Heart', became top 10 in several countries, and her fourth solo album, 'Lita', went Platinum. In 1989, Guitar magazine voted her Best Female Guitarist. In addition to a life performing on stage, Lita composed for and acted on screen. Some movies, TV shows, and video games she was involved with were Howie, Highway to Hell, Brutal Legend, Captain Marvel, and The Kite Runner. In recent years, Lita and her band (Patrick Kennison, Bobby Rock, and Marten Andersson) have been touring around the country, enjoying performing, and giving all they've got for their fans.Rock On, Lita! Rock On!

BIG HALLOWEEN ISSUE IS HERE!! WELCOME TO THE PARANORMAL CIRQUE!!
ROMANTICISM
by Aki Solomos
From the late 1700s to the mid 1800s, the artists emotions were awoken and
Romanticism was born. With the political and social turmoil of the French Revolution
and the Napoleonic Wars serving as backdrop for this new movement, it was a period
when artists began portraying and influencing feelings and attitudes of romance rather
than realism.
Eugene Delacroixs painting Liberty Leading the People (La Liberté Guidant le
Peuple), commemorating the July Revolution of 1830 that toppled King Charles X,
captured the full range of deep emotions of the time. Other works such as Jean-Jacques
Rousseaus philosophical writings, William Blakes poetry, and Caspar David Friedrichs
painting & Wanderer above the Sea of Fog are just a few other examples of the true and
raw nature of Romanticism.
Caspar, a prominent artist of the time, exclaimed, “the artists feeling is his law!”
It may sound dramatic, but it was about freely expressing ones emotions and
individualistic nature.

St. Georges's Anglican Church an
Historical Church amongst our own back yards!
By Aki Solomos
Looking upon the Gothic architecture of St. George's Anglican Church, with its mix of stone, dark panels, angled roof, and arched windows, one would almost expect to see a medieval knight adventuring through the surrounding woods.
The town of Helmetta though had its start in 1880 when Major General George W. Helme bought the land, and named it after his daughter Olivia Antoinette Helme. What started as a village of 105 homes dependent on a snuff processing mill 140 years ago, became what it is today - a township with a population of over 2200.
When the mill finally closed in 1993, leaving 1200 residents unemployed, it became “a blight on the center of town ever since,” said Frank Hague, mayor of Helmetta. The town managed to get by and even grow despite the hardship. The vacant buildings were never vandalized nor touched. “This is like Mayberry...a nice, small, quiet town with crab apple trees.” The Mayor said.
The church itself was built in 1894 for a congregation of mill workers and their families. Their Anglicanism belief had its start in the 16th century, when King Henry VIII rejected the Roman Catholic Pope's authority and established an independent church in England. The reasoning for their separation was because Pope Clement VII refused King Henry VIII's annulment with Catherine of Aragon, the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Spain. The Anglican practice fall between Roman Catholicism and Protestant. Today there are over 85 million followers worldwide.

April Issue!! Fashion Haunts Magazine Celebrates Prom at The Haunted Strauss Mansion.
The Haunted Strauss Mansion Museum Built in 1893 by wealthy New York merchant Adolph Strauss, the Strauss Mansion is a 21-room Victorian era Queen Anne-style “cottage” erected on the Atlantic Highlands hillside. Stunning views of New York City, the harbor, and Sandy Hook, can be seen from the third floor Tower Room. The museum is now open for free self-guided tours every Sunday from 12 - 4 PM, April through December. Exhibits include Victorian-era period displays, a room dedicated to the history of the Lenni Lenape, collections of local history items, and a vast newspaper archives and library. Fashion Haunts Magazine had an wonderful morning doing our prom theme photoshoot with models Kelsey Arbeeny and Lyliana. History has it this beautiful Museum is haunted and of course FHM was there to find out the legends! According to Strauss the identity of a spirit is named Bob and he lived in a third floor apartment back in the 1970’s when the mansion was being used as unsanctioned low-income apartments. They believe he died in the bathroom in that apartment and also a little about himself, such as a love for Bob Dylan and rock music. As it happens, shortly after finding this information out, they discovered his name and a famous lyric from one of Dylan’s songs written in graffiti on one of the walls in the apartment. There were disembodied voices, shadows moving, footsteps heard on the upstairs floors when we knew no one was there, items being moved around on their own (including a piece of furniture dragged several feet), and perhaps most shockingly, a picture frame flying off the wall in the parlor in front of 40 people in mid-October. So if your into meeting Bob or love history come out to the Strauss Museum in Atlantic Highlands, NJ!! 5 Haunting Iconic Women We Love to Hate!!
5 HAUNTING ICONIC WOMEN WE LOVE TO HATE!
Haunting Women in History
all stories by Aki Solomos
Wise, nurturing, warm, innovative - these are only a few of the great many descriptions about women throughout history. They were wives, daughters, mothers, neighbors, and even leaders. On the other hand, when you delve into some of the notorious and infamous – frightening, horrific, murderous, and manipulative also come to mind.
In this Fashion Haunts Halloween Issue, we'll take a quick look at five of them. Lizzie Borden who was charged and acquitted of the 1892 double axe murders in Fall River, MA. The legend of Bloody Mary in the Mirror, as well as the Queen who infamously tortured and burned anyone who opposed her. Mary Shaw the ventriloquist, who haunted and silenced her victims. The Bell Witch of Tennessee, a spirit that poisoned a father and tormented his daughter. And The Bad Seed, a 1956 movie about a girl with no remorse for killing to get what she wants.
Fair warning though, they might make you think twice about the woman or girl in your life, for your life is something she can take if you're not careful. Take heed of the old saying: “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

LIZZIE BORDEN TOOK AND AXE
It was August 4, 1892 and all seemed tranquil that morning at the Borden home in Fall River, MA. But things didn't go as peacefully as one would think. In fact, the day turned dreadful! After coming back from a walk to take a nap, Andrew, Lizzie's father, was discovered slumped over the couch with nearly a dozen axe wounds and an eyeball split in two. And Abby, Lizzie's stepmother, was found on the second floor with a hatchet blow to the side of her head and several more to the back after having gone upstairs to make the beds. Lizzie was tried and acquitted for the axe murders. No one else was ever charged despite the widespread publicity throughout the country. To this day, occasional unexplained phenomena occurs in the house such as the light switch flicking on and off, a female shadow in the basement, and doors opening and closing with footsteps in empty rooms. If you're brave enough, you can book a room at the Borden Bed and Breakfast and take a nap if you dare.

MARY SHAW THE VENTRILOQUIST
Mary Shaw had no friends growing up, except for her dolls. In her later years, she became a successful ventriloquist with an extensive dummy collection. Her favorite was Billy. One evening, a young boy embarrassingly heckled her. To prove him wrong, she amazed everyone when she overlapped her and Billy's voice. She then stared coldly at the young heckler and said, “Now who's the dummy?” It didn't end there for her rage still grew - the boy disappeared later that night.
When the family and locals suspected Mary, they stormed her dressing room, forced her to scream before ripping her tongue out thus silencing her forever. For decades after that night she haunted the townsfolk, silencing anyone that screamed when they saw her apparition, only to be found dead with their own tongue ripped out. As a warning to those who may see her, a simple poem was created: "Beware the stare of Mary Shaw. She had no children only dolls. And if you see her in your dreams; be sure to never ever scream."

- BLOODY MARY, BLOODY MARY, BLOODY MARY
A refreshing glass of tomato juice, a splash of vodka, and a few other ingredients make my
favorite travel-drink, the Bloody Mary. Its origin though, is bloody indeed. The vodka and spiced tomato
juice exemplifies the wickedness and the blood shed by Queen Mary I of the 1500's when she ordered 280
religious dissenters burnt at the stake. Her short five-year reign also spawned two well-known nursery
rhythms: 'Three Blind Mice' were the three Nobles that plotted against her; and 'Mary Mary Quite
Contrary' describes her wrath through her use of the guillotine and torture devises.
Alas, there is another legend though: Bloody Mary in the Mirror. It's a ritual only the brave or
foolhardy would dare try. Apparently, if you place a candle in front of a mirror in a pitch-black room and
call out Bloody Mary 13 times in a slow repetition, the candle will flicker and a demon or entity will
appear to entrance its victim and let out a terrifying scream! Are you foolhardy or brave?

THE BELL WITCH OF TENNESEE
Cradled by the Red River in picturesque northern Tennessee, the town of Adams is where the Bell
family settled down in 1804. 13 years later something awoken to make them regret that decision -the
infamous Bell Witch. For 4 years the family was tormented by this unknown entity.
It began with a strange sighting of what may have been a dog. Then scratching and knocking on
the walls and door outside their home; sounds of dogs fighting although there were none; and sheets
tossed off their children's beds as they slept. The spirit's main target was John and their daughter Betsy.
Betsy experienced hair-pulling, pinching, scratches, and was even beaten! While John suffered occasional
swelling in his throat, facial twitches, and even felt a stick stuck in his throat sideways. In 1820 John died
from poisoning, which the witch confessed proudly. And after Betsy broke
off her engagement with one of the neighbors in 1821, the witch finally left
with a promise to return in 7 years. True to her word, the
witch did return, and once again left proclaiming this time to return in
107 years - although some say she never really left because of certain
occurrences around town.

THE BAD SEED
Have you ever heard of the term 'bad seed'? It's an evil, dishonest person – a 'rotten apple', a 'black sheep', an 'evil spawn'. Have you ever heard of the 1956 movie The Bad Seed? It's about a young girl, Rhoda, with no forethought of a person's life if it means to get what she wants. Her first victim? A classmate she lost a school competition to.
She wasn't happy about losing the medal to him, therefore she simply took it. After drowning him that is. And he wasn't the first! Rhoda also killed a neighbor just because she wanted a keepsake. And when someone found out what she's actually done? She set him on fire. Rhoda did meet her end though, through divine intervention - by way of a lightening strike while trying to find the medal she thought she had lost.

A GENTLEMAN VISITS HISTORICAL HOBOKEN
An interview with Stephen G. Adkins III
If you ever visit Hoboken, NJ, I strongly suggest you dress up -whether spiffy-casual or to the Nines. After all, you're in Frank Sinatra's birthplace. With countless of restaurants, bars, cafes, and things to do and see, you can't go wrong meandering around town and being awed by the incredible view of the Manhattan skyline.
With well over 200,000 social-media followers, Fashion/Business Entrepreneur Stephen Adkins III took a trip to Pier A, front and center of the New York City view. We had the fortunate opportunity to chat with the model, actor, and fashion designer to delve into the mystery of being a gentleman. When I asked him about the secret of his success, he replied, “I always had a passion for fashion and modeling. Once I made the decision to pursue it, I noticed the more effort I put into it, the more opportunities opened up!” I commented on how much he looks like Negan from Walking Dead. “Jeffrey Dean Morgan! I get that a lot. I could be his stunt double.” We both chuckled. Stephen started late in the fashion world. He answered the model call in 2017 for a men's grooming company, looking for representation of their brand -that's when things just exploded, landing him from one opportunity to another. “I grew out my beard back in 2016-2017. I then noticed the interesting and unique color pattern. My friends and family had a positive reaction, encouraging me to do something with it. It became my signature look -from one small thing that started to snowball.” Before modeling, he had (and still does) a contracting company for 20 years doing home renovations and such. Between having been in the Army and worked at his family's accounting firm, he naturally became an entrepreneur.
Considering his well-groomed look, clothing, and self-image whether in public or private, all can agree Stephen is the quintessential role model of the classic gentleman. “That's what I always strive to do: to be a true gentleman; to be that example; to set the higher standard; to show that you can start from nothing and still put your mind and effort to become what you're pursuing. 100%!” I quoted him something I heard a long while back that a person's true character is not only how one behaves in public, but also in private -I asked if the gentleman-persona is something to be 27/7?
“Absolutely! Even at home I'd wear a stylish Hawaiian-patterned shirt, a nice pair of shorts, and slip-on loafers. Even at casual moments I dress and act with intent and purpose. I take pride with anything I wear and do.” I considered this and pictured a man wearing a suit jacket, sitting in a club chair, with a glass of bourbon while smoking a cigar in front a fireplace after a rich meal. I was wrong. Being a gentleman is setting one's self to a higher standard in dress and behavior -a form of self-respect. “I've been sober for 20 years. That was just a personal choice I made years ago. Nothing more. I make healthy choices with what I eat and drink.”
He does occasionally play softball, golf, participate in a league shooting pool and darts, travels around the U.S. and abroad such as Italy, The Bahamas, and Mexico for charity work. But he truly enjoys his time with family while playing Cornhole in the back yard as well as looks for ways to expand his self-image as a Gentleman. I commented how he strikes me as an American, non-drinking version of 'The most interesting man in the world.'
“It's funny you should say that! That was one of my original goals: To create that persona. Not necessarily for Dos Equis, but the image of being well-groomed, having fashion sense and the passion of the pursuit of what you'd enjoy. I'd like to consider myself the younger, 2.0 version of him.” And as far as role models, “I looked up to the Mobster personas in movies such as De Niro in Casino, and Pacino in The Godfather. Their characters were authoritative. With intent. Well-put together. Dressed to the T's. Influential. With purpose! Take away the criminality of their characters, the way they carried themselves with how they dressed, they had class -a timeless look.”
I asked what would his 'words of wisdom' be to everyone reading this: “You are never too old to start. You can start from wherever you are in life. Take small steps and never feel intimidated reaching out to ask those you look up to. Be relevant and a credible source. The more relevant you become, the more doors open. You have to build that relevancy. This will not happen overnight -don't expect to see results right away. Whether it be months or years, it's important to stick to it and establish your 'Self' while being ever-growing.”

Whether it be months or years, it's important to stick to it and establish your 'Self' while being ever-growing.”

The History of Haunting High Fashion
written by TaraJean McDonald photos by: @Fashionhauntsphotos
All clothing courtesy of : European Outlet Boutique
Many centuries before the first model posed for a fashion magazine, a woman simply considered clothing to be any type of material that could protect their body from the elements of nature. That was a long time ago, and thankfully that did not last very long. Inevitably people began to use clothing to express their own individual style. Before the 19 th century clothing was typically made at home using a sewing machine.
Fabric and patterns could be purchased from town. More wealthy individuals would visit a seamstress, where together, they would choose colorful materials and design clothing to fit precisely according to their unique shape and height. By the early 20 th century fashion magazines and newspapers began to include photos of
clothing styles from France and Italy. This began to have a profound influence on public taste. These sought-after styles created an industry called High Fashion. Many fashion designers emerged from this time to make a great impact on the fashion world. High fashion is the expensive, luxury end of fashion. The top luxury fashion designers of all time have proven that their unique style can surpass the test of time. From Coco
Chanel and Louis Vuitton to Christian Dior and Gucci these well-known fashion designers are still commonly sold through high-end stores, boutiques and specialty shops.
Fashion is an art, and the world of High Fashion gives a designer the ability to express
themselves by creating a work of art. Although at times this art may not always be
understood, it is without question a designer’s own distinctive masterpiece.

Witches are often associated with evil spells and black magic, but they are also known to mix up medicinal potions and cast love spells. While so many Hollywood movies portray witches as alluring young women there continues to be a dueling concept of witches and what they represent.
Most fairytale witches are scary and devious, such as the old hag in the story of Hansel and Gretel. The famous Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz is equally as frightening, yet Glinda the Good Witch gives us hope that the power of witchcraft could be used for good.
But the history of witches is known to be deadly. Most witches were believed to be pagan worshipers, doing the devil’s work. These empowered women use the dangerous forces of black magic to practice witchcraft for good or evil. Witch hunts began in Europe where many of the accused were executed by burning at the stake or hanging. Between the years 1500 and 1660, up to 80,000 suspected witches were put to death in Europe.
Nowadays, witches are called on to heal disease or break curses. The modern witches are not feared, but sought out to help with health, money, relationships and protection. It is even possible to purchase witchcraft spells, harness the power and cast your own spells if you truly believe.
You can read about witches in fairy tales or in the history books. But if you look into the night sky on Halloween Night and see a cackling lady riding on a broom and wearing a pointy hat, just try not to disturb her night ride. You wouldn’t want her to put a hex on you or turn you into a toad just for fun!

Princesses, Pixies & Evil Queens take over Lambertville, NJ at the Haunted J.B. Kline and Sons!
Princesses, Pixies and Evil Queens Take Over Lambertville, NJ Featuring The Legend of Aunt Matilda at J.B. KLINE & SONS
written by TaraJean McDonald In the supernatural horror film Burnt Offerings, filmed in the 1970’s, the new tenants in a 19th century mansion, were offered a great deal on a summer rental. The stipulation was they must allow the elderly 85-year-old mother to live in her upstairs bedroom. They were not to disturb her or talk with her. But they were required to leave meals outside her bedroom door. The old woman’s meals go untouched, and eventually something evil living behind that door causes the demise of the family. Similarly, when JB Kline’s Great Grandfather purchased properties in the1800s, there were some stipulations. In particular, the building located at 25 Bridge Street, Lambertsville, NJ, where an old woman lived in the upstairs apartment. It was stated that this eccentric elderly woman, Aunt Matilda, would be allowed to live out the remainder of her years in the top floor apartment. The Great Grandfather didn’t think it would be much of a concern. She played the piano. She didn’t go out, and she spent many hours alone in her room. She died shortly after. They closed off the rooms where Aunt Matilda lived, leaving her antique Victorian cast iron bed untouched for a100 years. It soon became known that the spirit of Aunt Matilda never really left. One forgotten stairway leads to her old rooms. No one had gone up those stairs in years. And if you stand at the bottom and listen close you can hear a piano playing. When JB Kline was a little kid he remembers how they tore up that room in 1960-70’s and made it into big apartment. Now, in 2020 his daughter lives there. On many days she can hear the piano playing. She has even seen apparitions pass by doorways. JB Kline’s family history in Lambertsville goes back into the 1600s. His Great-great-great-great Grandfather was the first Governor sent over by the King of England, then his son was the first Governor ever born in NJ, John Redding. And his Grandfather was the Mayor of Lambertville. The family’s building evolved over the years changing from a Candy Shop to a Toy Store, Art Supply Store and even a Tobacco store back in the early 1900s. They all worked there, his Dad and Aunts and JB Kline as a kid. But everyone always said they kept hearing things. Workers heard things. 3 people who worked there mysteriously passed away. One person hung himself. Probably not related to Aunt Matilda’s ghost, but definitely adding to the eerie history of the present day JB Kline New & Vintage Music Store. Aunt Matilda would be proud! She loved music. Twilight Passages did an Official Ghost Hunt and found some interesting thigs such as orbs, EVPs and movement in the basement. Download our free September issue here Although Sara and Mikayla have had high-functioning autism since birth, they were diagnosed at the tender ages of 7 and 4, respectfully. “After seeing one psychologist and psychiatrist after another, she was finally diagnosed 5 years ago!” Sara's mother exclaimed. Now at the age of 12, Sara is doing her first photo shoot. “She's a sweet little girl. She really enjoyed modeling with Fashion Haunts Magazine and would do it again!” Mikayla, age 13, started modeling just a few months ago. Besides singing and learning to play the keyboard, she's also auditioning for 'It's a Wonderful Life' at the Main Street Theater in Sayerville, NJ. “She has a great personality, and really loved doing this photo shoot.” Mikayla's mother says proudly. Together, they stroll through what's listed as one of the best known public parks in NYC. Famous for its artists, performers, battling chess players, and protesters, this 9.75-acre plot of land in Greenwich Village is also one of New York's most haunted neighborhoods. According to witnesses in the 19th century, a blue mist hung over the park at night -perhaps a rising whence the dead have long rested. Carmen Nigro, Managing Research Librarian, Milstein Division of U.S. History, Local History & Genealogy, speculates, “Could it perhaps have been the fertilizing effects of the 20,000 or so human corpses that still lie beneath the park?” Robert Gonyo, COO and part owner of Haunted Manhattan explains the stories behind the Arch, the Hanging Tree, and Fala the ghost dog. Join us as we journey through Haunted Manhattan -as Robert puts it, “Where horror and history meets.” ALL STORIES BY AKI SOLOMOS The Hangmans' Elm Strolling through Greenwich Village, Sara stumbles upon what used to be a Potter's Field -now known as Washington Square Park. What most New Yorkers don't know is that near the northwest corner of the park, a 300-year old elm tree may have been used for public executions, thus the legend of the "Hangman’s Elm". Robert exclaims, “As far as we can find, it's just a story. There are no records that we can find -Is it a legend or myth?” There may not be any account of it being used as a hanging tree, but since the cemetery's closing in 1825, excavations have found tombstones under the park dating as far back as 1799. “Occasionally, a passerby does see the shadow of a branch with a noose hanging from it.” The Haunting of Fala Feeling more adventurous than spooked, Sara and Mikayla wind up further in the park and at the Dog Run. According to Robert, if you see a black Scottish terrier that you can't seem to catch, chances are its name is Fala. Born in 1940, and a gift to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Fala later resided with Eleanor Roosevelt next to the park. “Not too long ago, a young woman sees a small dog without a leash.” Robert explains. “Attempting to catch it, it keeps slipping through her fingers, but she does notice the name on the dog tag - Fala.” As the story goes, Fala enjoys returning to the park to play. POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ
by Aki Solomos
The year is 1609, September 2 to be precise. Aboard the ship Half Moon, Henry Hudson and his crew
drops anchor along the Jersey shore. Among them, Robert Juet, pens in his journal “This is a very good
land to fall with and a pleasant land to see.” The land he is referring to? Point Pleasant Beach, New
Jersey to be exact.
It wasn't until 1817 when the area became a village-type settlement. 9 years later, tourism began. Yet, it
wasn't always pleasant at Point Pleasant Beach – Its original boardwalk, flimsily built in 1890, washed
away within 2 years. And throughout its history, the area had its fair-share of problems: destructive fires;
financial difficulties; back-to-back Nor'easters; major storms; and hurricanes.
But in the final decade before the new millennium of 2000, nearly 400 years after the Half Moon dropped
anchor, the area found itself and became what it is now: A vacation getaway; a weekend retreat; a day-
trip; a family and friends destination with tons of entertainment; a date-night outing; an ocean, beach, and
sun-worshiper's paradise with fishing, scuba diving, and seafood festivals. The options are endless!

Welcome to Old Bridge NJ and historical Cottrell Farms! It is our pleasure to share its the rich history, current plans and exciting future that is in store for this rural gem in the heart of Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Built in 1831 by William H. Cottrell, the home is located on the North East Corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road. The property had been well known for it’s 150 acre apple orchard. Mr. Cottrell Sr. oversaw the daily business of the orchard, including the picking, grading and shipping to their retailers. One of their biggest customers was the Heinz Co., who purchased apples for their baby food.
In 1904, Mr. Cottrell sold the farm to his two sons, Herbert and Franklin. In 1934, the Cottrell brothers decided to build a distillery that was called New Jersey Apple Growers. This distillery produced Browntown Apple Brandy, which had utilized apples that did not meet their standards for consumption, therefore reducing waste. The Brandy was wholesaled to distributors and retailers for over twenty years.
Years later, the business and Browntown Apple Brandy recipe was sold and purchased by Laird & Company, who kept the distillery on the Cottrell owned property until the 1960’s.
In 2005, Mr. Herbert Cottrell, who was the sole owner of the property had sold it to a local developer. The company had proposed to preserve the home and outside buildings, however their plans included creating a very large commercial and residential area on the land behind the house. The community spoke out against the redevelopment of the farm land. Mayor Jim Phillip agreed and went to the State to express the sentiments of the township and residents to preserve the property. The county and state did oblige and together with the township they negotiated a price and bought it from the developer.
Old Bridge Township has been granted Stewardship in 2017. “This home has always been a focal point on 516”, said Mayor Henry. “We have big plans to develop a passive and active recreational park giving the community a place to enjoy the great outdoors and be able to use the Cottrell home and barn to host a variety of cultural events and art exhibits.”
The farmhouse is from the 18th century and the plan is to retain its historical element by not changing anything except to restore the building. The Heritage trees will be preserved and integrated in the design with the remaining apple orchids. Walking trails and sidewalks will also be incorporated.
The grounds will see many new and exciting changes which will delight the community. There will be a great lawn where families can come and enjoy a picnic, toss a frisbee, throw a football, fly a kite, just run and have fun. There will be a playground and an exciting addition of a splash park.
The construction of an amphitheater will enhance the summer nights with concerts , theatrical performances and a variety of outdoor shows.
Once completed, this will be a spectacular addition to the community of Old Bridge.
How exciting it will be to witness the dreams, concepts and efforts of so many people past, present and future who contributed their time and talents to this project when it comes to fruitation.

TO CALL SAMANTHA ORTIZ: a 'Little Woman' is a misnomer. Viewers of the hit TV show Little Women: Atlanta quickly saw how big she really is inside. When she's not filling her Instagram or Facebook page with postings of Autism awareness, positive and funny memes, makeup tips, beauty photos of friends and clients showing off her latest creation, she's busy with her growing business and helping people.
Fashion Haunts Magazine caught up with Sam for a Q&A interview...Fashion Haunts: How's life for you since Little Women: Atlanta? Sam: It's been so great! It’s like I never left. I came back home and my clientele has been so loyal - we jumped right back in like nothing! I’ve also been working on a ton of stuff and feel a lot more centered and focused. FH: Were you born and raised in NJ? Sam: Yes! I was born and raised in South Jersey! FH: We heard you're starting a wig and makeup line. Can you tell us more about it? Sam: Well, right now it’s still in the works. I’ve been working on creating my own line of wigs because of demand where I get them from! I’ve made about 3 so far and have taken some hair courses in hopes of branching out, such as my makeup business. FH: Are you working on any other projects? Sam: At the moment I'm working on my big business and currently in the process of turning Sam’s Glam Shop into a reality. I'm opening up shop soon! I’m super excited and a little nervous as to how well it’ll do - but I know my clients won’t let me down. FH: It must be quite a feat juggling everything -how do you do it? Sam: It can be difficult but I do my best to stay focused. I always make sure to manage my business life and personal life accordingly so I don’t lose myself, and I try not to take on more than I can handle. I also have an amazing support system and a great team behind me. FH: Who is your favorite designer? Sam: I would have to say Michael Kors or Marc Jacobs… But I also wear all kinds of brands. I don’t just wear high end items. I love shopping at Ross and Marshals just as much as the next girl! FH: Are you now engaged or just dating? Sam: I'm in a relationship at the moment. Not engaged, although people assume so on Instagram. I think I'm going to remain a “Ms.” for a little while longer. FH: What's your favorite reality Show? Sam: I would have to say 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' and 'Jersey Shore'. I’ve watched them since I was young and I was actually so excited Jersey Shore came back on the air! FH: Are you a Horror kinda girl ? Sam: Absolutely! That’s my first choice when it comes to picking a movie. If I had an order for movie-genres, Horror would be at the top of the list. story by Aki Solomos You can See Sam on Lifetime Network and become a fan at Samsglamshop Instagram and Smokeythebear_ on Instagram |

From Jerseylicious to Fashion Entrepreneur. From Reality TV Celebrity to real life wife and mother of three. Tracy DiMarco Eps is the real deal. Since her debut on Jerseylicious, she's gained quite a following and stayed in the limelight on The Dish and E! True Hollywood Story. But what really drives her is her family, fans, and of course fashion. Fashion Haunts Magazine caught up with Tracy for an insight of her current life:
FH: How is life for you after Jerseylicious? Tracy: Life has been so different since Jerseylicious was on! The fans of the show are still extremely supportive and constantly checking up on our family and how we’re all doing. I always feel bad for them because I feel like they invested so much into the show and we kind of left them hanging. Season six had our wedding but was never aired. The fans come to my Instagram and are so happy to see Corey and I still together and growing our family! We’re very excited to see what the future holds. FH: It must be quite a feat juggling it all. Tracy: Life has given us more time to focus on our relationship, our family, and our friends as we get older. I turned 30 this year & Corey turned 28! Shortly after the show went off the air, I became pregnant with our first child Skylar James. At Sky’s first birthday, we were 2 months pregnant with our second child Jayden Gene (named after Corey’s father Gene who passed away when we found out we were pregnant). At Jada’s first birthday we were 2 months pregnant with our third child (our first son) Julian Chase. It's been a whirlwind of kids, madness, pregnancy, and hormones!! Our family is finally complete and life has thrown us some curve balls, but we are learning how to juggle 3 under 3 and very blessed with happy healthy kids. FH: Would you, or are you ever thinking of making a comeback to Reality TV? Tracy: I enjoyed filming. I just hated the cast that I was stuck with on Jerseylicious (a bunch of catty, lying, scheming b*tches), but I would definitely be open to filming another show with my family. I think followers of the show would really enjoy seeing how our relationship has blossomed, how we've dealt with the first 5 years of marriage, and how we are as parents of 3 beautiful kids! We would have a really good time if it's a lighthearted family show. FH: How is your clothing business 'Doing Princess Armor'? Tracy: Princess Armor is doing great! We try to appeal to all shapes, sizes, and styles for girls of all types. Each month we try to switch up the looks and keep our clients happy with all top trends at great prices. www.PrincessArmor.StorEnvy.Com has everything from clothes to shoes, and bags to jewelry. FH: Speaking of clothing, who is your favorite designer? Tracy: Zuhair Murad is my fashion god. He has the most intricate and unique designs. He is a risk taking designer with the most beautiful dresses in the industry! His dresses are breathtaking and his designs are classic & timeless. FH: Are you currently working on any projects? Tracy: My team and I are constantly coming up with new projects to be a part of and are always looking to see what the fans of the show would like to see next!! FH: Are you still doing Hair and Makeup? Tracy: Yes, I freelance Specialty Hair & Makeup (proms, weddings, sweet 16's, etc). I have more one-on-one contact with my clients in the comfort of their own home instead of a salon. They tell me how much they love that I come to them and take away the stressful aspect of getting ready on a special day. They always love the work I do and 9 times out of 10 they hire me for their next event before I even leave the appointment. I love my clients and as long as they’re happy, I’m happy! FH: What is your current favorite Reality show? Tracy: Corey and I are addicted to The Challenge! We’ve both been watching it since the first season in 1998 -it’s one of our mutual guilty pleasures!! New Hope is the home to beautiful historical B&B's, artsy boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and haunting tales dating back to the 1700's. Such places we speak of is the legendary Wedgwood Inn B&B located on 111 W. Bridge St. Enchanting stories of spirits such as the runaway bride and the young slave girl that appears to others only her age, are among a few that surrounds this quaint B&B home. We spent time with owner Carl Glassman and had a private tour of this Victorian beauty with all its ageless antiques and elegant detailing of the handpainted wallpaper! So join us as we take a haunting walk through the charming streets of New Hope Pa.
New Hope, Pennsylvania's 1870 Wedgwood Bed & Breakfast Inn, a nationally acclaimed New Hope bed and breakfast inn, is a Wedgwood-blue colored Victorian "Painted Lady" listed on Bucks County Registry of Historic Places. Wedgwood Inn is spelled Wedgwood, not 'Wedgewood' because Wedgwood Inn is named after the Englishman Josiah Wedgwood who invented the famous Wedgwood blue bone china. The Wedgwood family name does not have a second "e" in its spelling. Set on 2 private acres of a park-like setting with flower-lined brick walkways leading to two gazebos and a hammock, yet just steps from New Hope's historic and vibrant villageand the walking bridge to Lambertville and nearby Princeton, New Jersey. I was born September 18, 1985, in Fort Myers, Florida. Living in Florida, I've always been a beach baby. The sand, water, sun, and palm trees are my comfort zone. Although I love the woods, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing, I am always drawn back to the shore. My hobbies include music, movies, traveling, and adventure. My passion is the paranormal. I eat, breathe, think, consume, watch, study, and live for everything paranormal related. Ever since I can recall, I have been motivated by my enthusiasm for creating ideas, concepts, and visions, especially in relation to the paranormal. The paranormal is something greater than us all. It's the unknown and the unknown is what drives the desire to create visions.
My first paranormal experience was around the age of 13. I was teased throughout school and my social life out of school by those who I thought were friends at the time. In having these experiences, I sheltered myself in my room, created scenarios of having an “imaginary” friend and although that friend never talked back, I still talked out loud to him as if he were real. After a few months of doing so I started to hear my name being called as I was sleeping, yet it was so loud that it would cause me to wake up. It would start out with whispering but grow louder and louder until I was fully awake in the middle of the night. After those experiences, the noises in the kitchen started happening - pots and pans sounded as if they were moving around so I would go and check out there and of course no one was there; my mom and stepdad were sound asleep, it was dark, quiet, and just as it should be at night when everyone is asleep.
Once I started paying attention to those noises, my name, and other little things happening, I decided at the age of 15 to get a digital voice recorder. I had no idea what I was doing but I wanted to see if the voices I heard were going to come through on the recorder. With no previous experience with voice recorders, all I could do was research in books from the library. The digital voice recorder was a fail, I never picked anything up, or so I thought, considering I had no idea what to listen for. After that incident of trying to communicate with the voices I heard is when things started intensifying. Everyone in the family became more agitated, aggressive, and on edge. I will not get into too much detail about other things that occurred without permission from my mom and stepdad, but things definitely became more violent. I was seeing shadow figures, I was waking up with bruises, I was isolating myself even more, I would snap back at everyone for no reason as would my mom and stepdad.
That all continued for about two more years until things took a turn for the worse. I was lying in the family room and all of a sudden something made me feel physically heavy as I quickly came down with a 106 degree temperature. My mom was at work and my stepdad was home and he was in a complete state of panic. He called some people, although I do not know who because I was in such bad shape, but I do recall sitting in a tub full of ice. When that did not work, I was rushed to my mom’s work where she then took me to the hospital. The last thing I remember was lying on the bed in the ER room, slowly closing my eyes, and as cliché as this sounds, I saw a tunnel of light. It was bright but I was not fazed by the brightness, I was slowly floating, I had no pain, no worries, and no thoughts except extreme happiness, although I had no idea what was happening. I remember seeing a figure at the end of this tunnel of light, I don’t know if it was a man or a woman, but I do recall this figure being all white with a long dress-like robe with long hair blowing in the wind, yet there was no breeze. I have never in my life felt more comfortable than that exact moment nor will I ever forget the feeling I had during that time, almost 17 years ago. What got me up was my mom coughing and my body elevated straight up off the ER bed and seconds later the doctor walked in and from there on out I do not remember a thing. I do not recall what he said, me leaving, if the pain went away; my memory is blank up until the next day waking up in bed as if it was a new life.
Things were going well for months after that until the aggression came back, my name was being called more and more, my mom started feeling the presence of things, I was seeing full figures in my room this time, I tried to commit suicide twice (which is not like me), and I ended up in a trance walking back and forth in the kitchen for three hours when my mom decided to call her friend who is a nurse to see what was wrong. Again, I have no recollection of what was said, but I do remember hearing about a blessing on the house. A priest, holy water - the whole nine yards. Afterwards, I had to stop listening to the music I was listening to, my mom and stepdad had to stop drinking, the movies we watched had to stop, and basically anything that was or could have been causing an aggressive mindset had to stop since that could have been the doorway opening up to allow these darker situations to happen.
Eventually the house was foreclosed and we all moved out. I did, however, go back in with a friend of mine and we did a mini investigation when things were cleared out before the bank took it over. Once we were in there, that dark heavy sensation took me back to the beginning and the thoughts of depression, suicide, aggravation and heartache returned. We sat down in the kitchen near a large window and used an app on the phone called “Ghost Radar”. I know it is cheesy but again, we had no idea what we were doing. I will say this, I have never caught accurate results with the app until entering that house. As we were sitting there in the kitchen we began to hear noises in the garage where boxes were packed and waiting to be picked up by my mom and stepdad. To this day, I still remember what I asked…“Is that you in there? If so, what are you doing?” The app replied with, “moving”, and that was when I not only continued believing in the paranormal but caught my first moment of knowing that it does exist!
Superior Paranormal
I started Superior Paranormal in 2013. I wanted to take my passion to the next level and create my own investigation team. That team now consists solely of myself as I seek to change the way the paranormal is investigated through the use of new techniques as I implement my vision.
With Superior Paranormal, I like to investigate small-town haunts. I love the larger locations but they are too mainstream because every other team has already investigated them. So to separate Superior Paranormal from others, I want to investigate relatively unknown locations and bring them to the forefront of the paranormal world. I use minimal equipment in order to validate the evidence I capture.
Superior Paranormal uses new, low-tech methods and approaches for each lock-down. Considering each location is unique and has its own set of conditions, I take caution with what experiments I use in order to protect myself, and those involved in that particular investigation, as well as future investigators who come in after me. In the beginning of each investigation, I like to know as little as possible about the location but enough to know where the ‘hot spots’ of the paranormal activity are located. I do this in order to not be influenced by what others have captured or reported. Afterwards, when the investigation is over, I conduct interviews to see if what I captured correlates with what others have claimed to experience. I believe energy emanates from me that is related to my experiences earlier in life which attracts spirits in all of the locations I visit. This force works to my advantage as I capture clear and compelling evidence.
Haunted Tours
The Jalbert Brothers, Brian and Jake, contacted me around Feb of 2017 in need of an extreme, no holds bar kind of investigator who's willing to push the limits and boundaries by any means.
Well, after searching and searching, they found me. The rest is history! We clicked, connected, and filming began immediately. The first location we filmed at, The Maystringer House in Brooksville, FL, that's where we all met for the first time. Along with the Jalbert Brothers, both Victoria and Nick joined the investigation. Victoria is the host of the century as she is the real star of the show! Nick, along with both Brian and Jake, are all filming both Vicky and I from all angles. Season one will air first on Amazon Prime, October 22nd. The paranormal field needed a change, the paranormal fans, investigators, and even skeptics all asked for a change, we are that change. Follow us, as the Haunted Tours Crew speaks to those who have already taken their last breath as we implement the most extreme techniques ever documented on film. You can find Haunted Tours on Amazon Prime coming in October and check them out :

Fashion Haunts Magazine announces our free March/April issue #2!
Ghost Stories of The King George's II Inn located in Bristol, Pa, Featuring special Celebrity guest Brian J. Cano of American Destinations Show "Haunted Collector!" Beautiful gowns supplied by New York City Glitz of Pine Beach, NJ. The King George II Inn of Bucks County has a worthy history that dates back 335 years. It has a reputation for fine dining and excellent service, but the most interesting feature is the ghostly presence that walks its dark halls at night. Could the spirits of past guests still be visiting the historic inn that overlooks the Delaware River? The King George II Inn is America’s oldest continuously operating inn. It was founded, along with the town of Bristol, PA in 1681. Originally named “The Ferry House”, it was renamed the Fountain House, the Delaware House and finally rebuilt named after King George II of England in 1735. Many dignitaries were guests there, including George Washington, John Adams and James Madison. The inn once served as headquarters in 1776 during the Revolutionary War, and after the revolution it was considered one of the best hotels between Philadelphia and New York City. But some guests have never left. People have reported seeing one particular ghost wearing a top hat and fancy 19th century style suit and thus have dubbed him the Dancing Ghost. Sometimes a baby can be heard crying deep within the walls of the guest rooms. Two of the workers at the inn have seen apparitions on the Third Floor, but when they approach the figure it disappears. Chairs move on their own, lamps turn on and off, and pictures fly off the walls. So, be prepared the next time you visit the King George II Inn for a tasty Slow Roasted Prime Rib dinner and Truffle Parmesan French Fries, because you might notice your silverware disappearing and reappearing across the table, or hear the doors slamming in a vacant guest room upstairs. You can always pay your bill and check out of the Inn but as history has proven, it is certain that the ghostly guests won’t be leaving any time soon, because after all their eerie presence has been haunting the richly decorated halls for centuries. Fashion Haunts Magazine "A Historical Haunting of Smithville, NJ" featuring NYC designer Stevie Boi!
None of the locals will ever go out in the woods late at night near the old village of Smithville, NJ. When the moon is bright and the winds blow in from the ocean one can even imagine the colonial residents of Smithville shutting their doors and shutters to keep out the night air. But that is not all they wish to keep out. The legend of a dangerous creature named The Jersey Devil is known to lurk in the woods nearby searching for prey. Historic Smithville has been rebuilt to its original quaintness giving tourists the opportunity to become fully enveloped in the experience of a 16th Century village. The principal building is the original and restored Colonial Inn. There is a rumor that within this 30-room establishment a ghost has been seen passing through rooms 201 and 202. The apparition appears to be that of a middle-aged colonial woman who dresses in typical high neck, stiff bodice that buttons, long sleeves, and a full petticoat and cap. Other buildings that line the dusty streets are two other inns, the Lantern Light and Quail Hill. Ghost hunters and mediums frequent the village hoping to connect with a restless spirit or ghost. Reports of paranormal activity involving two young girls who were burned in a bakery fire have been recorded during one such visit by local paranormal investigators Nina Circone and Paula Nebbagui, and medium Lisa Wolff. The New Jersey Pine Barrens, with their carnivorous plants and creepy burned pine trees surround this ghostly town off the Garden State Parkway. So if you ever want to learn more of the history of the village of Smithville, NJ, take a ghostly tour one evening. But remember to bring your imagination and your flashlight because you might even get a glimpse of the terrifying New Jersey Devil. Join us as we take you through the historicial Haunted town of Smithville, NJ. By TaraJean McDonald |

Let's take a look back on all the wonderful places, people and events we have had the pleasure of covering!! Congrats!! Cameo Girl TV and let's have many more memorable years to come!! March 17, 2015 China: Through The Looking Glass Exhibit @ The Met NYC May 7- August 16 2015 Costume Institute’s Spring 2015 Exhibition at Metropolitan Museum to Focus on Chinese Imagery in Art, Film, and Fashion. Costume Institute Benefit May 4 with Honorary Chair Silas Chou and Co-Chairs Jennifer Lawrence, Gong Li, Marissa Mayer, Wendi Murdoch, and Anna Wintour; Wong Kar Wai Will Be Exhibition Artistic Director Exhibition Dates: May 7–August 16, 2015. Member Preview: May 5−May 6. Exhibition Locations: Chinese Galleries and Anna Wintour Costume Center. The Costume Institute’s spring 2015 exhibition, China: Through the Looking China: will be on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 7 through August 16, 2015 (preceded on May 4 by The Costume Institute Benefit). Presented in the Museum’s Chinese Galleries and Anna Wintour Costume Center, the exhibition will explore how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries, resulting in highly creative distortions of cultural realities and mythologies. In this collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, high fashion will be juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, as well as films, to reveal enchanting reflections of Chinese imagery. The exhibition is made possible by Yahoo. Additional support is provided by Condé Nast and several generous Chinese donors. “I am excited about this partnership between these two forward-thinking departments. The exhibition, a collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, coincides with the Museum’s year-long centennial celebration of the Asian Art Department, which was created as a separate curatorial department in 1915. China: Through the Looking Glass is organized by Andrew Bolton, Curator, with the support of Harold Koda, Curator in Charge, both of The Costume Institute. Additional support is provided by Maxwell Hearn, Douglas Dillon Chairman; Denise Patry Leidy, Curator; and Zhixin Jason Sun, Curator, all of the Department of Asian Art. Internationally renowned filmmaker Wong Kar Wai will be the exhibition’s artistic director working with his longtime collaborator William Chang, who will supervise styling. Nathan Crowley will serve as production designer for the exhibition−he has worked on three previous Costume Institute exhibitions including Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy (2008), American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity (2010), and Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations (2012). The design for the 2015 Costume Institute Gala Benefit will be created by Wong Kar Wai and William Chang with 59 Productions, and Raul Avila, who has produced the Benefit décor since 2007. “William Chang and I are pleased to be working in collaboration with The Costume Institute and the Asian Art Department of The Metropolitan Museum of Art on this exciting cross-cultural show,” said Wong. “Historically, there have been many cases of being ‘lost in translation’–with good and revealing results. As Chinese filmmakers we hope to create a show that is an Empire of Signs–filled with meaning for both East and West to discover and decipher.” China: Through the Looking Glass A publication by Andrew Bolton will accompany the exhibition. It will be produced by The Metropolitan Museum of Art and distributed by Yale University Press, and will be available in early May. Met Museum Presents programs include an opening concert in conjunction with China: Through the Looking Glass by pianist Lang Lang in the Great Hall on May 14, as well as Paradise Interrupted, a new work by artist Jennifer Wen Ma and composer Huang Ruo, starring Qian Yi. Lang Lang at the Met and Paradise Interrupted are inspired by the exhibition China: Through the Looking Glass, and made possible by Adrian Cheng. Additional funding for Paradise Interrupted is provided by Sarah Solomon Billinghurst. Paradise Interrupted is co-commissioned and co-produced by Spoleto Festival USA and Lincoln Center Festival. These events and the exhibition are featured on the Museum’s website, www.metmuseum.org/ChinaLookingGlass, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using #ChinaLookingGlass, #MetGala, and #AsianArt100. January 24th, 2015 Death Becomes Her: A Century of Mourning Attire, The Costume Institute’s first fall exhibition in seven years, is on view in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Anna Wintour Costume Center from October 21, 2014, through February 1, 2015. The exhibition explores the aesthetic development and cultural implications of mourning fashions of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Approximately 30 ensembles, many of which are being exhibited for the first time, reveal the impact of high-fashion standards on the sartorial dictates of bereavement rituals as they evolved over a century. With the reopening of The Costume Institute space in May as the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the department returns to mounting two special exhibitions a year, once again including a fall show, in addition to the major spring exhibition. This is the first fall exhibition The Costume Institute has organized since blog.mode: addressing fashion in 2007. “The predominantly black palette of mourning dramatizes the evolution of period silhouettes and the increasing absorption of fashion ideals into this most codified of etiquettes,” said Harold Koda, Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, who is curating the exhibition with Jessica Regan, Assistant Curator. “The veiled widow could elicit sympathy as well as predatory male advances. As a woman of sexual experience without marital constraints, she was often imagined as a potential threat to the social order.” Exhibition Overview The thematic exhibition is organized chronologically and features mourning dress from 1815 to 1915, primarily from The Costume Institute’s collection. The calendar of bereavement’s evolution and cultural implications are illuminated through women’s clothing and accessories, showing the progression of appropriate fabrics from mourning crape to corded silks, and the later introduction of color with shades of gray and mauve. “Elaborate standards of mourning set by royalty spread across class lines via fashion magazines,” said Ms. Regan, “and the prescribed clothing was readily available for purchase through mourning ‘warehouses’ that proliferated in European and American cities by mid-century.” The Anna Wintour Costume Center’s Carl and Iris Barrel Apfel Gallery orients visitors to the exhibition with fashion plates, jewelry, and accessories. The main Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Gallery illustrates the evolution of mourning wear through high fashion silhouettes and includes mourning gowns worn by Queen Victoria and Queen Alexandra. Examples of restrained simplicity are shown alongside those with ostentatious ornamentation. The predominantly black clothes are set off within a stark white space amplified with historic photographs and daguerreotypes. Christmas is in the air when you see Victoria's Secrets Fashion Show hit the runway, and Cameo Girl TV had the inside scoop with photographer Micheal Clubine!! The angels took flight to merry "ole" London for the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show this year with great celeb singers such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Hozier. Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor – Long Beach, Calif.
The Queen Mary was built in the early 1930s as a luxury trans-Atlantic ocean liner, but was pressed into military service to carry troops during World War II where hundreds died in and around the ship. This Halloween, the haunted ship is offering its Dark Harbor tours with four new attractions - the Soulmate maze, the B340 maze, Voodoo Village and Monster Midway, which features a freak show, a mechanical monster and a new ride, the Sinister Swings. Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” recently did a lockdown investigation aboard the Queen Mary for the show’s season 10 premiere, uncovering chilling paranormal evidence. So keep your eyes open, because those ghostly apparitions you see may not just be another special effect.
13th Floor Haunted House – Denver, Colo.
Guests taking a frightful visit to the 13th Floor Haunted House in Denver - the largest and longest indoor haunted attraction in Colorado – will understand why most buildings don’t have a 13th floor. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as Microsoft Kinect, the robotic monsters are more than capable of frightening the victims who dare to venture into the 13th Floor.
Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights – Orlando, Fla.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando should be at the top of anyone’s Halloween bucket list, especially fans looking for big-budget scares. Those willing to face their fears can also enter, at their own risk, the “Halloween” house for a face-to-face meeting with Michael Myers, the iconic masked slasher from the movies.

With over 200 animated monsters and 100 live actors, Netherworld is one of the nation’s most famous attractions. Having been featured on TV and in movies such as “Zombieland,” this spooky attraction has amazingly detailed sets. And unlike other Halloween attractions, Netherworld’s creepy characters greet patrons in the parking lot before they purchase tickets, scaring them off before they even enter.
13th Gate – Baton Rouge, La.
The 13th Gate is one of the most, if not the most, elaborately detailed haunted houses in America thanks to a construction crew that includes award-winning set designers, lighting and sound technicians and special-effects artists. Sets are over-the-top and feature live animals, including snakes and gators. In each of the 13 themed indoor and outdoor areas, more than 100 professional actors and 12 special makeup artists help bring the horror to life.
Festival of the Dead – Salem, Mass.
Salem, Mass. is historically known for the 1692 Witch trials that left 20 people executed. This year’s Festival of the Dead includes two weeks of events and parties designed to bring out your inner-Witch. Attend a séance to speak with the dead, share your stories with others at the Mourning Tea, pick up new ghost-hunting techniques or learn about death’s macabre customs and strange rituals. Finish the festival with the Official Salem Witches’ Ball on Oct. 31 and you’ll leave this town spellbound.
Bennett’s Curse – Jessup, Md.
This haunted spectacle outside of Baltimore is one of the top Halloween attractions in the Mid-Atlantic region. It features three terrifying haunted houses - Medieval Underworld, Inferno 3D and Sanctuary of Insanity - and the owners of this popular haunt continue to add monsters and twists to keep the attractions exciting for new and returning visitors. Not only has Bennett’s Curse been featured on Travel Channel’s “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions 3,” but it has consistently been ranked by several sources as one of the best Halloween attractions in the U.S. This spooky spot is also among the first to frighten its victims with the latest cutting-edge technology.
Fright Dome – Las Vegas, Nev.
Located in Circus Circus’ Adventuredome, the Fright Dome is one of Las Vegas’ largest and longest-running Halloween attractions. With six new haunted houses, the theme park is transformed into a pitch-black, lights-out, haunted spectacle – easily making it the scariest on the Strip. Scary creatures lurk in every dark, fog-filled corner, making guests feel as though they’re walking through their worst nightmare. The five-acre theme park also includes 25 rides and attractions, multiple live shows at night and four new scare zones, including the Clown Overload Zone. “My personal nightmare of clowns with glowing eyes surrounding me came to life,” says Zak Bagans, lead investigator of “Ghost Adventures,” “I had the worst panic attack. Needless to say, I’ll go back again because it was badass!”
ScareHouse – Pittsburgh, Pa.
ScareHouse is the place to be this year, especially with an exclusive partnership with Legendary Entertainment to help create the scariest Halloween to date. The partnership even sparked a visit from filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, who said, “With the sound design and the atmospherics, it is beautiful. I could live here!” Featured attractions include The Summoning, Pittsburgh Zombies: Black Out and The Basement. This Halloween haunt offers a big-budget sensibility without losing its hometown appeal.
Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum Haunted House – Weston, W.V.
The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is one of the most memorable haunted locations for “Ghost Adventures” lead investigator Zak Bagans, who completed a live 7-hour investigation with the Ghost Adventures crew. The spirits that roam the asylum’s halls are extremely active and tours are offered to see how the mentally insane lived and died within these walls. “It is undeniably the scariest overall haunted attraction that I’ve been to in the U.S.,” says Bagans. Additionally, visitors can participate in zombie paintball, a fall festival and the Asylum Ball, which includes a costume contest.

Cameo Girl TV visits Center Playhouse "PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM" in Freehold NJ with The Center Players!
5-3-14
The night was May 3, 2014, as I stood on the outside of a quaint little acting theater nestled on the corner of 35 South St.in Freehold, NJ. The weather was brisk as I aimed my camera at the CENTER PLAYHOUSE sign. Glancing at all the wonderful action pictures displayed in the glass front window made my anticipation grow with happiness.
I was greeted so graciously by Head of Board Director/Producer Bob Szita and was led into this adorable theater greeted with happy faces and great enthusiasm!
As I was heading to the back makeup room I can hear the laughter of the cast and was approached by my dear friend Amanda Greer who plays the spunky "NANCY" is this wonderful play with a beautiful smile.
"Thank You Sandy" She exclaimed "for coming to our show and hope you enjoy our performance!"
"Enjoy the performance?" I thought, did I ever!! The night was exceeding with talent and you can tell everyone was a perfect match for their part!!
PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM is directed by Anthony Marinelli, an award winning director who is currently working on a webseries titled" Simple Things" starring Amanda Greer.
Take a look below at the Cast & Crew of this wonderful play!!!

* Story by Cameo Girl Tv Sandy Foley
Anthony Marinelli (Director) is a recent Strawberry One-Act Play Festival Best Play of the Season recipient for his short play, Acoustic Space. He is the writer/director of short films Night, Joey’s Gonna Kill Me, Lunch Time, and Subway (recently seen on PBS’ Reel 13). Another short, Walt Whitman Never Paid for It, written by Angelo Berkowitz and featuring Amanda Greer (Nancy), just won the Audience Choice Award Best Short Film in the Richmond International Film Festival in March, and was also featured in the Williamsburg and Big Apple Film Festivals. Anthony began directing for the stage with an original play, Raisins Not Virgins by Sharbari Ahmed, followed by Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love, Terrence McNally’s Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? An industry reading for his feature film script, Eventually Yours, was held last May, and his web series, Simple Things, is currently in development. He is also a full-time commercial and documentary editor, having worked with Alicia Keys on a film for her charity, Keep a Child Alive (“Alicia in Africa”). A lifelong fan of Woody Allen’s, Anthony regards working on this production a dream come true. He feels deeply indebted to Center Players as well as his wife and family for being so patient and supportive while he continues nourishing his passion for doing great creative work.
Steven Lerner (Allan Felix) Steven is thrilled to be making his debut at Center Playhouse, and is equally excited to be performing in a role that everyone says represents him so well. In the past year, Steven played the lead role of Elwood P. Dowd in the Guild Theatreworks production of Harvey. He also recently released his first documentary feature film, Shore to Rebuild.
Steve Lerner's Dream Role has been fulfilled he tells Cameo Girl TV, that playing Allan Felix in Play it Again, Sam has given him much happiness to play his idol Woody Allen!

Amanda Greer (Nancy) Based in New York City and Los Angeles, actress Amanda Greer returns to the stage, continuing her successful artistic partnership with director Anthony Marinelli. Amanda portrayed a controversial role in the independently produced stage-to-screen Walt Whitman Never Paid for It (2012), directed by Marinelli. The project received an outpour of support from prestigious film festivals in New York City and in Los Angeles, and ultimately, premiered at Tribeca Cinema. Notably, the film recently was honored with the Audience Choice Award at the Richmond International Film Festival 2014. Collaborations also include an original motion picture, Eventually Yours, as well as a forthcoming web series, Simple Things. (Kindly browse http://theamandagreer.com/ for more details about Amanda!) After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Fall 2010, Amanda swiftly obtained the lead role in Scorned: Love Kills, a television series that aired on Discovery. Amanda’s film, Long Shot Louie, earned the 2013 Official Film Selection of the SoHo Film Festival. Additional screen credits include Making the Cut, Church of Cards, and It’s Official. In Men in Black III, she was featured in the 1969 scene, and she is loving going back in time with this production. Amanda wishes to thank her supportive cast and crew.
I recently sat down with Amanda for a private interview and had found out an array of enticing info. She comes from a family of performers, her father taught Ballet as she does now during the day and she originally wanted to be a criminal lawyer! But alas, the acting bug had taken over and she now adores to live her dream of being the best actress.
She is currently working with Anthony Marinelli in the new web series "Simple Things" (see video clip below)
