She was known as the 'ham in the sandwich', although she would live a vegetarian lifestyle. Growing up in a home without TV, Debra was free to wander and explore her world, encouraged by her Mother to befriend squirrels, bring home salamanders, unearth bones, and cherish bird's nests. One of Debra's earliest memories is digging at the beach, discovering the rich, dark clay layered under the sand. Buckets of clay were hauled home and soon the family's spider-webbed shed was converted into Debra's childhood studio. Clay figures of animals and mermaids would be sculpted, only to dry out and crumble Never one to be discouraged, Debra soon found new mediums to work with and would later complete a B.Ed at Ottawa University, Canada. Today Debra still collects shells and stones, and with her husband, encourages her two beautiful, messy children to explore nature's diversity. Living on Vancouver Island means Debra has an endless supply of driftwood to work with; her favorite medium. Like the bones of past trees, each piece of driftwood holds a story and the spirit of nature. Debra hopes that her art inspires creativity and awakens a connection to the beauty of nature Please feel free to use any images from my Etsy page or from my Facebook page: facebook.com/shapingspirit. My name is Lena and I'm a self-taught artist. I grew up in an artist family and my mother had the greatest influence on me during my childhood. She creates extraordinary embroideries, sings, writes and takes pictures, which has always fascinated me. We've been through alot and in art I found something that's always given me strength and the possibility to express myself and to communicate even in times I couldn't speak. Art is my anchor so to say, I love drawing portraits, comics and asian Manga inspired characters, creating collages and abstract, colorful, bohemian aquarelle and water color paintings. Taking and editing pictures also became a big passion of mine. To find the perfect scenes and subjects for my photographs, I just walk through the city, visit exhibitions, graveyards and parks or experiment around with makeup for example. Writing down thoughts and poems is some kind of self reflection and letting go to me. I focus on self and socio-critical thoughts and my personal experiences and turn them into poems, quotes, short stories or songs. Any kind of authenticity, whether I find it in a piece of art, a person or a place, is what inspires me the most and creating art is my way to show gratitude and to give back all the inspiration and motivation I've recieved through it. Fashion Haunts Magazine features the ever so talented triple threat Mr. Santino Campanelli our Jersey Shore Native. Check out his story as he rises to the top!! How did you begin your journey in to music? My interest in being a musician came on pretty early when I bought an electric guitar around the age of 10, but it never really grabbed me so I kind of fell out of the idea for a few years. Then around 13 I bought a cheap karaoke mic at a Radio Shack and began singing along to my favorite songs at the time, and I just fell in love with singing and the prospect of being a front man. From there I started my own band, and I’ve been involved in numerous bands, solo projects, and writing and production projects ever since. Where are you from? I was born in North Jersey, but we moved around a lot. Largely back and forth between New Jersey and South Florida. Finally planted some roots in Toms River where I attended Toms River High School East for all 4 years. After that I was back in FL, then back to NJ, then NYC for a few years, and I live in Hollywood, CA now. So I guess I’m a bit of a mutt, but New York City and the Jersey Shore were always constants for me no matter where we lived, so I consider them both a home of sorts. Who have you worked with? I’ve been fortunate enough and proud to have worked with numerous talented artists in music and film on stage, on set, and in the studio. In music I’ve performed with Motley Crue, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Machine Gun Kelly, Redman, and tons of other amazing acts. In the studio I’ve written and produced for Melissa Gorga (Real Housewives of NJ) and Deena Cortese (Jersey Shore). In Television and in my first acting gig I’ve worked with our close family friend Jenni “JWoww” Farley (Jersey Shore). And most recently I directed my first feature film “Bully”, which was written by my father Joe Campanelli, with the very talented cast including some very seasoned and wonderful characters in Danny Trejo, Vincent Pastore, Ron Canada, and the youngest on set who held down the entire film like the pro that he is, Tucker Albrizzi. Behind the scenes though, none of these accomplishments would have been possible without awesome and talented bandmates, crew, and staff involved in many of the facets of each project. What inspires you? Life. Everything. The high of completing a project you’re proud of, that you poured everything in to. I often draw inspiration from other artists too. Pulling from Film, TV, music, artwork, design, architecture, etc. I love it all. What are my other endeavors? Well, beyond the obvious of singing and performing music as a solo artist. I’m currently in two other bands, Crash the Night (think Maroon 5 meets Linkin Park) and Rogue Star (dirty vintage rock with some modern elements). I’ve also dabbled in promotion, club management, production, and marketing. In film… I love directing, from a few music videos and the feature, I can’t wait to do more. I also do editing and post production, sort of a necessity for tight budgets. I also recently launched a clothing and accessories line called Mainstream Misfits, which also sells my music related merch. Acting and modeling are also something I enjoy doing, I’ve shot with some great photographers over the years, and played alongside JWoww in my first feature a couple years back… definitely aiming to work in both of those fields more. But before all of these wonderful creative projects were ever lucrative, graphic and web designer since I was 10 years old. Built my first paid website for a gentleman in South Florida who sharpened scissors and razors for local salons and barbers, and that ability had helped fund most of what I did musically for many years. I’m active as a designer today, but in a much more selective capacity. Social Media. Most of my work can be found at www.SantinoNoir.com. Mariana Neves, is a 26 years old fashion photographer and professional makeup artist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her addiction to beauty, whether it be aesthetics, symmetry, shapes or colors has always attracted her to the world of fashion and glamour. Since she was a child, she used to tear out pictures of makeup ideas, fashion editorials and staged them with her Barbie’s and other toys. She would plan their makeup colors, style their clothes and even decide what kind of backdrop scenery for the shoot. With a major in advertising and post graduating in administration, Mari knew photography would always have a special place in her heart and adores working in the exciting life of fashion and beauty. Addicted to travel, she visited NYC several times to capture the essence of beauty in the fashion capital of the world. Recently, during her last visit this summer to NYC, she decided to take more intense classes and learn as much as she can in makeup and photography. There she took the reigns and decided to follow her dreams and set up her own professional editorial shoot in downtown Chelsea area. She contacted the beautiful model Sabrina Dandridge and also stylist and accessory designer Sandra Foley of Flair Designs Accessories. Together this team of talented women worked in perfect harmony which resulted in the amazing editorial titled “The Rooftop Rendezvous” You can see all of Mari Neves amazing work on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/marinevesfotografia/info/?tab=page_info Take a Peek of our Behind the Scenes Video of our "Rooftop Rendezvous" Photoshoot Below.Mari Neves "Rooftop Rendezvous" all rights reserved. She has enjoyed a 15 year career in social service working with children with developmental disabilities and youth in the foster care system. In 2013 she decided to merge her love for wearable art and social changed by creating Color My Bubble.
CMB creates one-of-a-kind designs on eyewear for adults and children. "I am obsessed with sunglassses and my friend referenced them as my bubble because I always had them on day or night. It hit me that I wore them as a way to express myself rather than to hide away, and in that moment I decided that I should "color" my eyewear to give myself and others a more extroverted experience." They use various type of mediums and materials to create designs which give nothing but pure attitude! Original designs mirrored the outrageous styles found in the art and music festival scenes which served as inspiration. Over the years the CMB style has evolved to include a more everyday, but still glamorous look. No two designs are ever the same from the simplistic styles to the more extravagant "look at me" pairs, representing the foundation of the CMB philosophy to eliminate social intolerance. CMB wants to encourage people to be celebrate what makes them different while giving others the space to celebrate who they are as well. They believe that by fostering self-esteem through art and expression it will build our capacity as humans for understanding. Recently CMB has built on this philosophy by launching their new line of art kits for kids in which a portion of the proceeds are donated to non-profits supporting vulnerable youth populations. www.colormybubble.com https://www.facebook.com/Color-My-Bubble-291749380889694/timeline/ Twitter: @colormybubble Instagram: Color My Bubble Pinterest: Color My Bubble Rissa Bling & Momma Bling @ her 30th Birthday Bash!It was a night of Pink, Black and Bling when Cameo Girl TV was asked to attend the wonderful celebration of the celebrity designers Rissa Bling's 30th Birthday Bash!!
